There are several examinations throughout the MDS programme. Students have to pass a Year-End Assessment that will be conducted before the end of their academic year. The Final year students will have to pass the Final MDS Examination and Conjoint MOrth/MRD.
To pursue MS in Dental Surgery, students will be required to register with Singapore Dental Council. It is one of the entry requirements for the program of MDS Residency Training provided by NUS. For the eligibility criteria, students should be the holder of a basic dental degree, such as Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent. They are also required to have 2 years fulltime clinical experience in general dentistry after they graduate. Completing TOEFL or IELTS with certain score result is necessary for students whose medium of undergraduate instruction or native tongue is not the English language.
