Primary Schools

It is common for parents to send their children when they are aged 7 years. The foundation stage of education is the first 4 years, which is in primary 1, 2, 3 and 4. Meanwhile, primary 5 and primary 6 are the orientation stage. All children can join in this basic educational institution. In addition, there is no school fees. However, parents should prepare S$6.50 for standard miscellaneous fees. Students will also undergo the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) to continue to the higher education.

Secondary Schools

Secondary school is the stage of education to improve students’ ability. Based on PSLE results, students will be placed in the Express, Special, Normal (Technical) or Normal (Academic) course. Normally, secondary education takes four years. The students will learn the different curriculum based on their course. This is to optimize the abilities and interests of the students.
